AI data centers in Vietnam: a 1,200 MW pipeline

PacinfraX Vietnam is developing 1,200 MW of data center capacity across four sites, signed with companies of BIN Corporation. The first is Nam Thang Binh in Da Nang: 200 MW planned, with phase 1 delivering 20 MW of IT load, targeted 2026–2027. We build halls and powered shells for hyperscalers, AI labs and GPU clouds.

Why Vietnam

Five reasons to place AI capacity in Vietnam with us

Our sites give you signed land, local partners and a hall design your engineers already know.

  • Four signed sites

All four site agreements are signed with companies of BIN Corporation, so every site starts from a signed agreement.

  • Industrial land

Sites include an industrial park and an economic zone, planned for phased growth.

  • Capacity at scale

A 1,200 MW plan lets you start with one hall and grow block by block.

  • A local team

PacinfraX Vietnam runs the program on the ground, led by Quat Bao, CEO of PacinfraX Vietnam.

  • One reference design

The same AI-ready, liquid-cooling-ready hall is used here and in the United States, so your engineers review it once.

Who it is for

Three ways to take capacity in Vietnam

Hyperscalers, AI labs, neoclouds and enterprises each own a different share of the build. Pick the model that matches yours.

  • Build-to-suit

We design a hall to your rack density, cooling method and schedule, then build it. This suits operators with a defined deployment who want the hall shaped to their stack.

  • Powered shell

You receive an energized building with power and cooling plant in place, and your team fits out the white space with its own contractors.

  • AI colocation

You place racks in a liquid-cooling-ready hall and we operate the facility. Teams that need a Vietnam footprint without a construction program start here.

Every model uses the same reference hall: redundant A and B power feeds, liquid-cooling-ready floor plan, a carrier-neutral network room and layered security. Compare the models on AI data centers.

Power planning

Power planning is scoped per site with the tenant

Every campus is planned around its power before halls are built. Because each site has its own conditions, the power plan is scoped per site with the tenant: you share your load and timeline, and we confirm the power approach for the site you choose. This keeps each tenant's plan tied to the real conditions of its site instead of a generic assumption. Read the principles on data center power infrastructure and the hydrogen and ammonia program co-located with campus power.

How to engage

What to bring to the first call

Load, timeline, model and cooling
  • Load. Total megawatts and the size of the first phase.
  • Timeline. The date racks must be powered.
  • Model. Build-to-suit, powered shell or colocation.
  • Cooling. Air, rear-door or direct liquid cooling.

A rough range is enough to start. After the call, our engineers write up the hall options, the phasing across sites and the questions that remain open, so your team can review them together before the design review. If your plan spans more than one market, we keep one design review and one point of contact across Vietnam and the United States.

We reply within two business days. EPC firms, suppliers and land partners can partner with us, and public agencies can reach our team through the government and community page. Meet the leadership team or read why PacinfraX.

Questions

Vietnam data center FAQ

How much data center capacity is PacinfraX planning in Vietnam?

PacinfraX plans 1,200 MW across four sites: Nam Thang Binh in Da Nang (200 MW), Dak Lak at Ea Wer (500 MW), Nam Phu Yen Economic Zone (300 MW) and Dinh An in Vinh Long province (200 MW).

When does the first Vietnam data center come online?

Phase 1 at Nam Thang Binh delivers 20 MW of IT load, targeted 2026–2027. The campus grows to 200 MW in further phases.

Who are your partners in Vietnam?

All four site agreements are signed with companies of BIN Corporation. At Nam Thang Binh our partner is NTB Industrial Park JSC.

How will each Vietnam site be powered?

Power planning is scoped per site with the tenant. Request capacity with your load and timeline, and our team confirms the power plan for the site you choose.

3 more questions
Which Vietnam site should I choose?

Choose by timing, size and region. Nam Thang Binh is the earliest, Dak Lak is the largest, Nam Phu Yen sits in an economic zone and Dinh An serves the south. Our team compares them against your requirement.

Can I reserve capacity in phase 1?

Yes. Request capacity with your load, timing and fit-out model, and our team replies with the phase and hall that fit your plan.

Can I run liquid-cooled GPU racks in Vietnam?

Yes. Halls are designed liquid-cooling ready, as build-to-suit, powered shell or AI colocation.
